The Retreat
Soma Lab – A Retreat into Your Living Body
There is a place within you that has never been lost.
Beneath the noise of expectations, beneath the layers of conditioning, beneath the constant movement of the mind — there is a quiet knowing, a living essence that remembers who you truly are.
SomaLab is a five-day immersive journey devoted to this remembrance.
A laboratory of the body.
A temple of presence.
A playground for the soul.
Here we explore the wisdom of the soma — the living body — as the gateway to deeper consciousness. Through movement, sound, breath, stillness, and connection, we gently dissolve the layers that are not truly ours and return to the clarity of our inner truth.
The Journey Within
We are multi-dimensional beings, living through many layers: the physical body, the emotional body, and the mental body. When these layers become disconnected, life can feel fragmented, driven by pressure, confusion, or effort.
At SomaLab, we reconnect these layers through embodied experience.
Through somatic exploration and conscious movement, we listen to the intelligence of the body. Through meditation and breath we calm the mind. Through emotional expression and authentic movement we allow what has been held inside to move and release.
Slowly, something begins to align.
Clarity emerges.
The heart becomes audible again.
And from that space, we begin to feel the subtle direction of our dharma — the path that wants to unfold through us.
Instead of pushing life forward, we learn to move with the deeper rhythm of existence.
The Practice Field
Each day we gather for an immersive exploration, weaving together a rich tapestry of practices that support deep inner transformation.
Within this living laboratory we explore:
- Somatic movement and authentic movement
- Yoga practices including vinyasa, yin, and meditative flow
- Contact improvisation and relational movement
- Dance journeys and embodied expression
- Bodywork and nervous system regulation
- Meditation and deep stillness
- Breathwork and awareness practices
- Sacred singing and kirtan
- Ceremony and collective reflection
This space invites the body to remember its natural intelligence, creativity, and sensitivity. There is room for play, for softness, for discovery, and for deep presence.
Where Retreat Meets Festival
SomaLab lives within a unique environment where deep inner work meets the joyful spirit of a festival space.
After our daily immersions, the field opens into a vibrant communal atmosphere — a living playground of music, creativity, art, and connection.
Here, the journey continues in a different way.
You may find yourself:
- dancing freely beneath the open sky
- sharing heartfelt conversations with new friends
- sitting in silence together
- singing around spontaneous circles
- witnessing others in their authentic expression
- integrating your experiences through movement, rest, and connection
The festival becomes a mirror — a space where the insights from the retreat naturally meet life, relationship, and community.
Transformation becomes something lived, not only practiced.
Integration & Embodied Living
A key intention of SomaLab is integration.
The practices shared during these five days are not meant to remain only within the retreat space. They are tools for everyday life — ways to stay connected to your body, your emotional landscape, and your inner guidance long after the retreat has ended.
When the physical, emotional, and mental bodies move in harmony, life becomes less about pushing and more about listening.
From this place, we begin to walk our path with clarity, trust, and authenticity.
A Collective Remembering
SomaLab is more than a retreat.
It is a field of shared exploration.
A space where movement becomes prayer,
where stillness becomes medicine,
where voice becomes expression of the heart.
Together we remember that our essence is already whole, already connected, already alive within us.
All that is needed is the space to listen.
And when we listen deeply enough — the path begins to reveal itself.
Why should participants join the Retreat?

My Motivation for the Retreat
My inspiration for creating the Soma Lab Retreat is deeply rooted in my own journey. For more than ten years, I have been exploring and integrating somatics, contemporary dance, contact improvisation, movement practices, and sacred singing. These practices have profoundly shaped my life—helping me reconnect with my body, soul purpose, open my voice and live with greater authenticity, freedom, and presence.
Soma Lab was born from the wish to share this transformative path with others. It is a space to slow down, explore, and rediscover the intelligence of the body through movement, breath, sound and voice. I invite you to step into this living laboratory with me—to nourish yourself, awaken your creativity, and experience the joy of being fully alive in your body.
Personal Invitation for the Retreat
I warmly invite you to step into this journey with us. There is something truly powerful that happens when people come together with openness, curiosity, and the willingness to meet themselves more deeply. Creating this space and witnessing the unfolding of each person’s process is something I deeply cherish. I would be honored to share this experience with you — to move, explore, and awaken the wisdom of the body together.
